This documentary outlines history around the brass band music in New Orleans and the culture and people involved with this music genre. This project began in 2009 by three companions in New Orleans and musicians, band members, rappers, writers and artists have been interviewed.

They went on to marry and bear children and grandchildren. Now at 85 years of age (as of 2011) this brave, courageous woman who was not afraid to love in the midst of death and fear, chronicles her love story.
